USPS Pricing
USPS offers a variety of options in terms of services and prices. In the following table, you can see that if you want to send a document, from, for example, Riverside, California to Long Island City, you must decide which you prefer to favor: speed or economy. If you choose speed, you will have to pay $25.50; while if you opt for economy, you will only pay $9.30. Something similar happens if you want to send a 20-pound package. For $62.25 you will have it at its destination in 5 days, but if you want it to arrive the day after it is sent you will have to pay a little more than double, $142.25. Another thing you should know is that some of the USPS services do not support all types of shipping. As you see in our table, you cannot send documents through the USPS Retail Ground service.

When it comes to international shipping, USPS also offers you a wide range of offers. However, in our comparison table you can see that if what you want to send is a document, the options are limited to the First-Class Mail International service. A document sent to Mexico will cost you $21.50 and will arrive between 2 and 10 days depending on the area of Mexico. Note that if you are sending a 20-pound package and want speed, you will need to choose the Global Express Guaranteed service and it will cost you $185.80. For the same package you can only pay $119.05, but it will arrive within 3 to 10 days. You should consider that some services are intended to satisfy a particular class of shipments, so they do not support shipments of a different class. You can see this, in our table, in the case of the first three services we mentioned: they are not suitable for sending documents.

National Services
USPS general household services are as follows. Please note that USPS does not deliver packages weighing more than 70 pounds (32 kg). Nor those with a length plus circumference greater than 108 inches (270 cm) combined.
Priority Mail Express
It is the fastest USPS domestic service, delivery occurs the next day at 10:30 am
- Available 365 days a year
- Delivery to almost all addresses in the United States
- You can opt for a flat rate of $25.50 or calculate the shipping price
- Except for the flat rate, prices are based on weight and area
- The price includes the Free Package Pickup Service at home, at your home or office and the registration of proof of delivery with signature
- You can purchase them from Post Office branches or online
Priority Mail
This is a fast domestic service, whose delivery time ranges between 1 to 3 days , depending on the place from which you send the package and where you send it.
- Includes free USPS Tracking and package pickup service
- Pricing is based on weight and area and can be easily calculated on the website
- The maximum step is 70 pounds
First-Class Mail
Suitable for sending envelopes and light packages, delivery is made within 1 to 3 business days. It differs from the previous service in that you can access a flat rate, it does not include insurance and the tracking service only applies to packages.
- The maximum weight for letters is 3.5 ounces and for envelopes and packages is 13 ounces
- Envelopes must be rectangular or an additional charge will apply.

USPS Retail Ground
This service is convenient for those who are not in a hurry. With a delivery time of 2 to 8 business days, it is a reliable and economical way to send your large packages.
- Recommended for large packages
- Includes USPS Tracking service
- It is only available at USPS post offices.
- Prices start at $7.35
Media Mail
Especially recommended for sending educational materials and media
- The material to be sent includes books, printed music, video and sound recordings, folders with medical content, etc.
- Video games, computer discs and digital discs cannot benefit from the prices of this service. There are other restrictions.
- Maximum weight is 70 pounds.
International Services
Since 2007, USPS international service names have been restructured to correspond with domestic shipping options. It is a global shipping service, specifically to more than 190 countries, safe and economical. The following classes of services differ fundamentally in delivery speed and shipping rates.
Global Express Guaranteed
For shipments weighing up to 70 pounds, it is USPS’s fastest international service, with delivery ranging from 1 to 3 business days .

- Maximum length: 45x46x35 inches

- Delivery is carried out by FedEx Express, with which USPS has agreements
Priority Mail Express International
The delivery period for this service is 3 to 5 business days .

Quote USPS shipping
The USPS quote tool allows you to instantly know the price of your shipment. You must have the following information: the postal code of the shipping location and the place to which you are shipping, as well as the date and time you plan to make your shipment.
